Interests: Regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biology of ageing

Background: Alexander developed an early interest in science during his late high school years at the Jesuit college of Alicante. He then pursued a degree in medical informatics and develoed his passion for data analysis. Already during his B.Sc. he made major contributions to two high-impact journal publications on wound healing and oncogenesis in the context of a novel tool for patient stratification based on data integration. He is currently responsible for the maintenance of the group's infrastructure while pursuing a M.Sc. studium individuale in Bioinformatics for Regenerative Medicine at Boku.
