Current vacancies are listed below. Moreover, we are always happy to hear from outstanding students and scientists who are interested in working with us.

Post-doctoral research fellow, bioinformatics

We need an enthusiastic scientist to join our team in the development of integrated approaches for the analysis of heterogeneous data. A particular goal is the principled combination of knowledge from sequence analysis, heterogeneous databases, and in-house quantitative experimental results (e. g., metabolite profiles and gene expression data from microarrays or proteomics). Post-doctoral research fellow, bioinformatics, 5yrs+

We need an outstanding scientist excited about analysis close to the experimental lab and international collaboration. We focus on the challenge of extracting structured insight from genome-scale experiments. Besides working with colleagues in the group, there will be a regular exchange with a partner group at the Central European Institute of Technology in Brno, Czech Republic. Read more

If you are interested in joining us please also refer to the provided information on training for post-doctoral and pre-doctoral fellows. You may also want to learn more about our research interests and get to know our team.

Student internships

Note that we cannot offer short-term internships. While we are always interested in excellent students, we find that the minimum placement duration for a mutually satisfying outcome is usually no less than 9 months. We will be happy to help the brightest students apply for fellowships.

Job boards

We usually also advertise vacancies online in the appropriate job boards.

Please drop us a note if you operate a relevant job board and we have missed your site.
